Background mode

Debate in the background.

Start a live voice round, float it on top of everything, and keep arguing while you use your other apps. Your mic and the AI keep running. No install.

Three steps

The round runs in your browser. You just move it out of the way.

01

Start a round

Pick a motion and a side at the voice round, then start speaking against the AI.

02

Hit Float over apps

One tap pops the round into an always-on-top window. Or leave Auto-float on and it follows you the moment you switch away.

03

Go do your thing

Open Slack, your notes, anything. The floating window stays visible and the round keeps going.

What's in the floating window

Everything you need to stay in the round without switching back to the tab.

Browser support

Chrome and Edge

The round floats in a real always-on-top window (Document Picture-in-Picture) that stays visible over your other desktop apps, even when the browser is minimized.

Firefox and Safari

Document Picture-in-Picture is not available yet, so the round docks to a corner panel that floats over the site. The audio still keeps running in the background tab.

Optional: the launcher extension

You do not need this to debate in the background. The floating works in the round itself, in your browser, with no install. The extension just adds a toolbar button that opens a debate from any tab.

Download extension (.zip)

Install it · Chrome or Edge

  1. Download the zip above and unzip it.
  2. Open chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions) and turn on Developer mode, top-right.
  3. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped float-extension folder.
  4. Pin the icon, then click it any time to open a debate.

Not on the Chrome Web Store yet, so it installs unpacked for now. A store version is coming.

Keep arguing while you work.

Start a round, float it, and let the practice run in the corner of your screen.
