Works with Google Calendar

Sync every round to your calendar in one tap. Schedule a debate and add it straight to Google Calendar, the video room link rides inside the invite, so kickoff is one click from your calendar. Apple Calendar and Outlook get a .ics.

The board is still thin. There aren't enough debaters here yet to fill every slot on demand. Pick a time that works for you, post it, and the calendar holds your slot until someone takes the other side. Getting there.

All times shown in your local time. Debates can be joined as debater, judge, or viewer depending on availability.

How it works

A real round, end to end. From posting the motion to reading the judge's verdict aloud, exactly what you click, what you see, and what each side has to do.

Schedule or join a debate

Two paths in: post your own, or accept someone else's.

Show up, embedded video

Click Start judged round on the accepted card. Both sides land on the same page.

  • Video room embeds directly in the page, left side is the call, right side is the speech panel.
  • Allow camera + mic when the browser asks. Test by saying hi before the timer starts.
  • Decide who's speaking first per the format spec (it's shown at the top of the panel).

Run the round, speech by speech

Format-aware timer enforces the real speech sequence. Both sides see the same state.

  • Active speaker hits ▶ Start speech when ready, clock doesn't auto-start, so prep time is yours.
  • Mic auto-transcribes (Chrome / Safari). Space = pause/resume, M = mic, Enter = end speech.
  • Cross-ex / POIs: just keep talking. End the speech when the format clock is done.
  • Whoever is speaking does the typing/mic. The other side watches and preps their response.

AI ballot, both sides see it

After the last speech, the AI judges. Tournament-grade RFD, on both screens.

  • Winner + speaker points scaled to the format (28+ in APDA = strong, 27-30 in PF, etc.).
  • 3-6 sentence RFD naming the deciding clash and why one side won it.
  • Per-speaker feedback: what worked + one specific thing to fix.
  • Saved to both speakers' records. Copy or rematch in one click.
